December 2014: Maggie Ridenhour
Congratulations to our December Leading Woman of the Month: the beautiful Maggie Ridenhour! Maggie is a senior majoring in Human Biology and minoring in psychology. She has been active in Theta since becoming a member and served as this year’s scholarship director. Outside of her involvement in Theta, Maggie is a member of various academic honor societies and clubs, including Phi Beta Kappa and the pre-physical therapy club. In her spare time, Maggie interns for the USC Athletic Medicine Department, where she assists physical therapists and athletic trainers with the rehabilitation of NCAA athletes. Maggie has a passion for traveling and participated in a study abroad program called Semester at Sea, where she traveled around the world by ship to study and explore thirteen countries in a single semester. She has also been fortunate to volunteer globally, both in Zimbabwe to create a library for children orphaned by AIDS and in Haiti to help with the earthquake relief efforts. After graduation in May, Maggie plans to attend graduate school to become a pediatric physical therapist, and hopes to some day use her skills to help children in need of physical therapy around the world.
