Recruitment

A Message From the Recruitment Officers

We cannot wait to meet all of the amazing young women coming through Recruitment during the 2018-2109 school year! Many USC sorority members will tell you that the lasting friendships they've made through Greek life are an invaluable part of their USC experience.

This year the recruitment process is undergoing some structural changes. In the next school year, the Panhellenic community will be hosting two formal recruitment periods, one in Fall 2018 and one in Spring 2019. Futhermore, one must have a USC GPA before participating in recruitment. This means freshman who are accepted for Fall of 2018 will unfortunately not be able to go through recruitment until Spring 2019.

Recruitment is a fun week that will change the lives of so many women. Throughout the week, potential new members get to meet the women of each organization while making friends with the girls in their Recruitment groups!  Even if you think that Greek life may not be for you, Recruitment can be a fabulous way to make new friends at the beginning of the school year. For more information on the change check out the Panhellenic website.

Here at USC, we have a distinctive Greek system with so much to offer. As a member, you can get to know individuals from 55 different chapters across 5 councils. You can gain leadership skills by holding an office within whatever organization you join, participate in various philanthropic activities, connect with a large network of alumni, and so much more. Recruitment is a wonderfully unique experience that we hope you decide to take part in.

On behalf of the Omicron Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta, we look forward to meeting USC's newest class during Fall Recruitment! Contact USC Panhellenic to receive an application & more information. Fight on!

  2. Keep an open mind: Regardless of anything you've heard about particular chapters or the Greek system as a whole, come in with an unbiased and positive outlook.
  3. Ask questions: Get to know what Greek membership can add to your college experience.
  4. Have fun and RELAX: Recruitment activities are planned as a way for you to get to know the personalities of the chapters in a relaxed setting, and for us to get to know you. We all want you to have fun!
