Our Leading Woman of the Month for December is our Broadcast Journalism superstar JT Arowosaye! JT works as a weather anchor and a multimedia journalist for Annenberg TV News where she has covered stories about the Paris Terrorist Attacks, USC Football, and the Republican Debates. She also works as an anchor for USC’s new entertainment show “The Buzz” and she was previously a correspondent for Trojan Vision’s “The Scoop”, where she got to interview talent such as Meghan Trainor, Snoop Dogg, and Katy Perry! When JT isn’t reporting, you can find her with the USC Athletic Department, where she works in game management. If you couldn’t have guessed it already, JT is a Broadcast and Digital Journalism major, but she also has a minor in Spanish. She will be studying abroad in Madrid this spring for her minor and while she is there, she will be interning at a Spanish news station creating digital/mobile news stories. When she returns, she will become a sports journalism intern in the New York area this summer. JT’s passions don’t stop at just Journalism, she co-founded her own charity service project called Share it Forward that donates used, non-perishable food items and electronic items to villages in West Africa. JT, you have us in awe of all of your accomplishments and we are so proud of you!
