Congratulations to our Leading Woman of the Month for May, Anna Catinis! Anna is a senior studying Health and Human Sciences, Spanish, and Health Care Studies. She serves on the Executive Recruitment Board as IT director. When Anna is not studying, she dedicates her time to helping her community. She does research on how to reduce radiation from unnecessary CT scans on pediatric patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, volunteers with USC’s Mobile Clinic to offer medical services to the homeless population in Los Angeles and serves on the executive board of Global Medical Brigades where she goes on Brigades to communities in South America to offer medical services. Her volunteering doesn’t stop there! She is a Trojan Health Volunteer, assisting in local clinics around Los Angeles and also tutors Syrian refugees through Skype. Anna just completed her MCAT in pursuit of attending medical school to become a doctor. Your dedication to helping others amazes us and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. We are so proud of everything you have accomplished and always remember that Theta loves you!
